The City and County Parks and Recreation departments will host a free 1.5-mile wildflower walk this Saturday, June 4, at 10 a.m. on Ten Mile Creek Greenway as part of the Tour de Fleur series. Walkers will meet at the trailhead in the Carmike Wynnsong Theater parking lot.
Led by Brian Campbell, naturalist at the Knoxville Botanical Garden, the walk will showcase the varieties of flowers and trees along the 1.7-mile trail. Each month brings a unique mixture of colors and textures to the path and creek bed.
All Tour de Fleur walks are on Saturdays and will be led by a nature guide.
