Knoxville Artist Derrick Freeman presented paintings to Mayor Daniel Brown and Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett on Thursday, May 19.
Derrick Freeman is an 20-year-old artist whose work has been exhibited at shows and graced the covers of note cards, greeting cards and Christmas cards.
Freeman was diagnosed with autism as a small child he has since conveyed many of his thoughts and perceptions through his art.
Freeman is a student at Hardin Valley Academy and the son of Angela Hunter.
