City of Knoxville offices will be closed Tuesday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday and Tuesday, January 1st for the New Year Holiday.
Waste Connections, the city's household garbage and recycling contractor will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th.
The collection for garbage and curbside recycling for Tuesday will be picked up on Wednesday, Wednesday's will be picked up on Thursday, Thursday's will be picked up on Friday and Friday's will be picked up on Saturday.
The downtown trash collections will not run on Tuesday, December 25th.
The city's recycling centers will be open but the Goodwill attendant will not work on Tuesday, December 25th.
The city's Solid Waste Management Facility located at 1033 Elm Street will be closed Tuesday, December 25th.
