Mayor Rogero welcomed students from several states - and Canada - to Knoxville for the FIRST Robotics Smoky Mountain Regional on Friday.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989 to inspire young people to participate in science and technology. Students will particpate in the Rebound Rumble robotics game which is played between two alliances of three teams each.
