Bike Walk Knoxville is hosting the 2nd annual Ride with Elected Officials on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.
This ride will highlight some bike friendly streets but also some barriers for children biking and walking safely to these neighborhood schools.
You will have an opportunity to meet and chat with your elected officials in a relaxed and fun event.
This ride is not recommended for bicyclists under 12 years unless they are in a trailer or on a trail-a-bike.
Helmets are required.
Bike Walk starts at Belle Morris Elementary School at 2308 Washington Pike.
Parking will be available across the street at Washington Pike United Methodist Church.
