City of Knoxville offices will be Closed on Thursday, July 4th for the July 4th holiday.
Waste Connections, the city's household garbage and recycling collector, will be closed Thursday July 4th for the holiday. They will pick up Thursday's garbage and recycling Friday, and Friday's garbage and recycling Saturday.
The downtown trash collections will run their normal schedule Thursday, July 4th.
The City's recycling centers will be open but the Goodwill attendant will not be on duty Thursday July 4th.
The City's Solid Waste Management Facility located at 1033 Elm Street will be closed on Thursday, July 4th.
