City of Knoxville offices will be closed Wednesday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday and Wednesday, January 1st for the New Year Holiday.
Waste Connections, the city's household garbage and recycling collector will also be closed on Wednesday, December 25th and Wednesday, January 1st in observation of the holidays.
There will be no garbage or recycling collection on either of these Wednesdays. Collections will resume on Thursday and pick-ups will be one day behind the regular schedule.
