KUB will close both westbound lanes on a short section of Neyland Drive between the Henley Street Bridge and Lake Loudon Boulevard beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, and lasting until 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 28, as work is completed on the sewer collection system in this area. Traffic will be reduced to one eastbound and one westbound lane on this section of Neyland Drive while this work is completed.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use extreme caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
KUB is a municipal utility serving Knox and parts of seven adjacent counties and provides electric, gas, water, and wastewater services to more than 439,000 customers.
