February 3, 2014 - The City of Knoxville is currently accepting applications from non-profit organizations interested in obtaining a City Community Agency Grant (CAG) for FY 2014-2015, which begins on July 1, 2014.
The deadline for filing an application is 4:30 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2014. The City will not consider any application received after that time.
To apply for a grant, the non-profit organization must operate within the City of Knoxville and must have been in operation for at least five years.
There are two different application forms. One is for organizations seeking a grant within thr "Arts and Culture" category and the second is for "Other" non-profit agencies seeking a City grant.
Priority in awarding will be given to proposals that contribute to the goals and mission of the City of Knoxville.

There have been some changes to the FY 2014-2015 "Arts and Culture" Community Agency Grant (CAG) Application. To answer any questions you might have about these changes, a Technical Assistance Workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 11, at 1:30 p.m. at the Emporium Center for the Arts (located at 100 S. Gay Street, Knoxville, TN 37902). This workshop is not mandatory, and is open to any agency interested in applying for a CAG in the "Arts and Culture" category.
