January 7, 2014 - City offices will be closed Monday, January 20 for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.
On Monday, January 20, KAT buses will operate on a Saturday schedule; trolleys will not operate. The Customer Service Counter at Knoxville Station will be closed. Regular service will resume on Tuesday, January 21.
Waste Connections, the city's household garbage and recycling collector, will be open normal business hours on Monday, January 20th for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.

The collection for garbage and curbside recycling for Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday's collection will be picked up on Wednesday and so on ending with Friday's collection picked up on Saturday, January 25th.)
