City of Knoxville offices will be closed Friday, January 1, 2016 for the New Year Holiday.
Waste Connections WILL run residential garbage and recycling routes on Friday, January 1, 2016.
Trash and recycling routes will run as usual the week of December 28, 2015 through January 1, 2016.
Downtown trash and recycling will run on its regular schedule January 1, 2016.
The City's recycling centers will be open for recycling use but the Goodwill attendant will not be available for household goods donations on Friday, January 1, 2016.
The City's Solid Waste Management Facility located at 1033 Elm Street will be closed on Friday, January 1 and Saturday, January 2, 2016.
