Also, there's a mandatory technical assistance workshop for applicants on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at the John T. O'Connor Senior Center, 611 Winona St.
Homeless Grant applicants should attend a 1 p.m. Thursday workshop at the O'Connor Center, and CDBG Grant applicants should attend a 2 p.m. workshop at the O'Connor Center. RSVP by Wednesday to Cissy Henderson at

Meanwhile, the City of Knoxville's Community Development Department is still seeking public input for its Five-Year Consolidated Plan, which identifies community needs and priorities. The five-year plan outlines the strategies the City will use to address those priorities, using U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds. Federal funding supports the CDBG and Homeless Grants for which the City is currently accepting applications.
