KUB crews will reduce a short section of Walnut Street to one alternating lane of traffic between Summer Place and Union Avenue from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, as work is performed to repair a fire hydrant.
The northbound lane will remain open and be used to alternate traffic, and flagmen will be on site to assist with traffic control.
Access to all businesses and parking areas will be maintained. Wednesday, October 28, will be used as a rain date if necessary.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction.
Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
