Beginning on Monday, November 2, and lasting through June 2016, KUB crews performing upgrades on the overhead electric distribution system will implement temporary intermittent lane closures on short sections of Chapman Highway between Hendron Chapel Road and Nixon Road weekdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to facilitate safe work conditions.
Access to business in the area will be maintained. Follow up advisories will be issued as needed in relation to this work.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use extreme caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
