KUB will have the following lane closures due to utility maintenance:

Cumberland Avenue Lane Closures [August 5] – KUB crews will close a short section of the curbside, eastbound lane of Cumberland Avenue between Eleventh Street and Poplar Street from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, as work is performed on the natural gas distribution system in the area. One eastbound lane and both westbound lanes will remain open during this time. Thursday, August 6, will be used as a rain date if necessary.

Henley Street Tunnel Lane Closures [August 5-6] – KUB will implement intermittent lane closures of the Henley Street Tunnel starting at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, until 6:30 a.m. Thursday, August 6, for street light maintenance work. Traffic flow will be maintained in both directions at all times.

Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at this location to assist motorists traveling in the area. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in this area.
