Downtown Century II Utilities Upgrade Project – Game Day Way Road Closures [August 12-21] – KUB and its contractor will close a short section of Game Day Way from 7 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, until 6 p.m., Friday, August 21, as work continues on the Downtown Century II Utilities Upgrade project. Residents in this area should be mindful of the presence of construction workers and equipment, and follow all posted traffic signs. Follow up advisories will be issued as necessary.

(West Knoxville) West Forest Boulevard Lane Closures [August 12-14] – KUB crews will implement shifting lane closures of West Forest Boulevard between both West Cliff Drive intersections and from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., starting Wednesday, August 12, until Friday, August 14, in preparation of natural gas distribution system work in the area. Crews will be working in the southbound lane, while the northbound lane will remain open and be used to alternate traffic.

Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
