Neyland and Third Creek Greenways Reopen Following KUB Utility Upgrade Work

Posted: 10/02/2015
KUB and its contractor have completed work on sections of two City of Knoxville greenways located on the University of Tennessee campus following upgrades to the natural gas distribution system in the area, and the Neyland and Third Creek Greenways have reopened.

This work is part of KUB’s South Loop Natural Gas Pipeline Project, which is ongoing. Although the greenways have reopened, construction crews will continue to be present in the area, and KUB and its contractor would like to remind everyone to be mindful of equipment and construction activities that will continue to occur in the vicinity of these greenways.

KUB thanks City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation for their assistance with this project, and its patrons for their cooperation. KUB also thanks the University of Tennessee for their assistance. Customers with questions or concerns can call 558-2331. If calling after normal business hours, customers can leave a message that will be followed-up with a call from a KUB representative by the end of the next business day. Information about this and other KUB construction projects is also available at www.kub.org
