Public Meeting June 19th on Justice Assistance Grant Application

The City of Knoxville and Knox County will hold a public meeting regarding the Bureau of Justice Assistance 2015 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) application on June 19th from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Knoxville Police Department, 800 Howard Baker Jr. Drive, Knoxville, TN  37915.

Copies of the plan will be available for review at the public meeting.  

Written comments will be received until June 24th and should be sent to:

The JAG Program is the primary provider of federal criminal justice funding to state and local jurisdictions and supports a range of program areas including law enforcement, prosecution and court programs, prevention and education programs, corrections and community corrections, drug treatment and enforcement, crime victim and witness initiatives, and planning, evaluation, and technology improvement programs.
