There will be something for everyone as races, crafts and festivals will be held around Knoxville this weekend.
The Gathering, a local craft show, will be held in the Jacob Building at Chilhowee Park from 4-7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, and from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22. The craft show will feature primitives and antiques, with a focus on seasonal and gardening decorations.
Sole of Hip Hop Music Festival, to be held in the Homer Hamilton Amphitheater at Chilhowee Park, will showcase hip hop artists such as Wave Chapelle, Cyhi The Prynce and several up-and-coming artists while also highlighting the newest sneaker and clothing trends. The music festival runs from 2-10 p.m. Saturday.
If you're looking for a family activity, head down to Market Square. BLANKfest features music, comedy and the arts of Tennessee from 5-10 p.m. Saturday.
University of Tennessee Medical Center will offer Knoxville's seventh annual The Man Run, presented by Regal Entertainment Group. Aspiring runners can attend the Knoxville Track Club's Youth Greenway Series at Tyson Park beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday. It's geared specifically for local children 12 and under in an effort to encourage the joys and benefits of running on local greenways. Visit

• Market Street between Clinch Avenue and Union Avenue will be closed 6:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Union Avenue between Walnut Street and Gay Street will be closed 6:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Temporary no-parking zones are in effect on Market Street and Union Avenue starting at 5 a.m.
BLANKfest
