The Governor has issued a Proclamation regarding the dry weather and drought conditions proclaiming that “The starting of an open air and unconfined fire on or near woodlands where dangerous fire hazards exist is forbidden.” The burn ban, which includes Knox County and the City of Knoxville, continues through December 15, 2016.
