Due to utility maintenance, KUB will have lane closures on Vanosdale on Apr. 23 and on S. Northshore on Apr. 25.

(West Knoxville) Vanosdale Road Lane Closure [April 23] – KUB crews will reduce a short section of Vanosdale Road to one lane of traffic between Sheffield Drive and Westdale Drive from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., on Saturday, April 23, as work is performed on the water distribution system to serve homes in a new subdivision under construction in the area. Vanosdale Road northbound traffic will be detoured via Buckingham Drive, Portsmouth Road, and Sheffield Drive. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control. 

(West Knoxville) South Northshore Drive Lane Closure [April 25] – KUB crews will reduce a short section of S. Northshore Drive to one alternating lane of traffic between Lyons Bend Road and Duncan Road from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Monday, April 25, as work is performed on the water distribution system fire hydrants in the area. The southbound lane will be closed, while the northbound lane will remain open and be used to alternate traffic. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control. Tuesday, April 26, will be used as a rain date if necessary. 

Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures, including flagmen, will be in place at this location to assist motorists traveling in the area. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in this area.
