The next meeting of the Police Advisory and Review Committee (PARC) will be held on Jan. 21, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the New Friendship Baptist Church located at 1933 Texas Ave., Knoxville, TN 37921.
The purpose PARC is to strengthen the relationship between the members of the Knoxville Police Department and the citizens they serve through an independent review of police actions.
PARC reviews incidents involving police action following the conclusion of the Internal Affairs investigations. Citizens can either register formal or anonymous complaints with PARC's executive director.
PARC welcomes and encourages attendees to bring concerns about the Knoxville Police Department to the attention of the Committee.
