A public hearing on the City of Knoxville’s 2018-19 Draft Annual Action Plan for Community Development will be held at 5:30 p.m. on May 7, 2018 at the John T. O’Connor Center, 611 Winona St.
City of Knoxville Director of Community Development Becky Wade, Community Development Administrator Linda Rust and other City officials and community development partners will take public comments on the 2018-19 Draft Annual Action Plan that describes the proposed use of federal funds beginning July 1, 2018.
Cities are required to submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) a draft plan that outlines how they plan to use Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds during the next program year to support their goals to support and improve low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.
