Festival producers Dogwood Arts and Attack Monkey Productions are pleased to announce the full lineup for the 10th Annual Rhythm N’ Blooms Music Festival, returning to Knoxville’s Historic Old City May 17-19, 2019.
New Orleans-based Tank and the Bangas will join previously announced headliners Tyler Childers and Dawes; adding their unique combination of fiery soul, hip-hop, r&b,
and subtle jazz to the Cripple Creek Stage. Additional artists including Langhorne Slim, The Suffers, Sarah Shook and the Disarmers, Gangstagrass, Frances Cone, Sean McConnell and more have been added to the festival lineup.
Hometown favorites Cereus Bright, Teen Spirit, and the Cutthroat Shamrock will play alongside Knoxville-based Americana darlings The Black Lillies (and frontman Cruz Contreras) who have been involved
since the festival's inception, headlining the very first year at the Knoxville Botanical Garden and returning in
some capacity almost every year since.
Rhythm N’ Blooms makes its home in the Historic Old City neighborhood of downtown Knoxville, utilizing a
mixture of indoor and outdoor venues. Six stages feature musical acts that span the spectrum of notoriety -
from nationally acclaimed headliners who thrill crowds on the Cripple Creek Main Stage, to emerging acts who
are discovered by new fans in smaller venues throughout the weekend. Festival attendees are treated to music
from a variety of genres with an emphasis of “roots music” of any sort: Americana, bluegrass, country, hip hop,
rap, blues, soul and funk. The full lineup of artists is below.
With the festival’s move to May, an exciting new partnership with Blühen Botanicals (now presenting sponsor
of the Cripple Creek Main Stage), and even more announcements about festival activities to come, the 10th
iteration of this staple Knoxville event promises to be a weekend to remember.
