The 25th annual Feast with the Beasts presented by ORNL Federal Credit Union will take place on Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 7:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. at Zoo Knoxville.
Knoxville’s most iconic sampling event will feature Knoxville’s best restaurants, wineries, breweries and distilleries throughout the zoo. The evening also features interactions with animal ambassadors and special encounters. Graze through the Grasslands Africa area to the high-energy rhythm of Indigenous Vibes and as the sun sets, the evening’s entertainment charts a course for the tropics with timeless 70s and 80s “yacht rock” performed by Smooth Sailor.
New this year is Big Al’s Ultra Lounge! Upgrade your Feast with the Beasts experience with a special ticket that gives guests access to an exclusive event area featuring a unique Knoxville cocktail from Sapphire: Fine Food and Fancy Drinks, as well as special samplings from Knoxville’s top local chefs including Lonesome Dove, Tupelo Honey, The Farmacy, OliBea, The Plaid Apron, and RT Lodge. “Lounge” in comfy chairs and couches in the shade and meet our herpetologist who will introduce you to our oldest resident Al the giant Aldabra tortoise.
Big Al’s Ultra Lounge tickets are $150 each and limited to 200 guests. General event tickets are $89 per person in advance and $99 per person the day of the event. Zoo annual passholders and Circle of Friends members receive $10 off all tickets. Ticket price includes all food and beverage samples and entertainment. Tickets may be purchased online at
