Amid growing concerns about COVID-19, the City of Knoxville will be canceling the upcoming
Neighborhood Conference scheduled for March 28, 2020, at the Knoxville Convention Center.
This decision is being made out of an abundance of caution and after consultation with
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) current guidance for Mass gatherings or Large Community Events.
The conference is a free annual event that normally attracts more than 500 people.
The City is currently evaluating other events that are scheduled to take place within the City and consulting the Knox County Health Department to take any measures possible to try to keep the people of Knoxville healthy.
