The bike park is the first new feature to be completed as part of the Urban Wilderness Gateway Park project.
The Bike Park is a one-of-a-kind facility designed and built uniquely for Knoxville. This all-weather park is a place to build and practice mountain-biking skills. The Bike Park offers two asphalt pump tracks – one for more advanced riders and one for beginners – and five jump and skill lines of varying difficulty levels.

The amenity was one of the initial components of the $10 million Urban Wilderness Gateway Park project. Greenways, parking, connector roads and utilities are being built, with restrooms, shade structures, picnic areas, play features and gathering places to follow.
Due to safety protocols in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, attendees at Thursday’s event must wear masks and practice appropriate physical distancing.
In the event of rain, the Bike Park opening celebration will be rescheduled.
