The East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers program makes it easier than ever to track Knoxville’s wanted fugitives, read about featured and unsolved crimes, and help find missing persons through social media.
On May 5, 2021 the City of Knoxville and the Knoxville Police Department joined the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers board of directors to unveil the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers program. By the end of the first day Crime Stoppers had received 7 tips and within 10 days Crime Stoppers received its first tip that lead to an arrest.
Fast-forward a few days to May 13th,
twitter.com/tn_crime was introduced, then the following week, on Monday, May 17th East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers launched the
facebook.com/EastTennesseeValleyCrimeStoppers page.
