KUB crews will implement traffic control measures intermittently overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday night September 21-22, and Thursday night, September 23-24, as work is performed on the electric distribution system in the area.
These roads will be affected:
•
Cumberland Avenue – closed between Henley Street and Locust Street.
•
Locust Street – one southbound lane closed between Cumberland Avenue and Main Street. One southbound lane will remain open.
•
Main Street – one eastbound lane closed between Henley Street and Locust Street.
•
Henley Street – one turn lane to eastbound Cumberland Avenue closed and one northbound lane between W. Church Avenue and Cumberland Avenue.
•
Intersection of W. Church Avenue and Locust Street
All areas will not be impacted at once. On-street parking will also be closed in the work areas.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction.
Appropriate KUB traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas.
Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
