The City of Knoxville is now accepting applications from non-profit organizations interested in applying for Community Agency Grant (CAG) funding for Fiscal Year 2022-23, which begins July 1, 2022.
Funding through the CAG program is just one of the ways the City supports local arts organizations and social service agencies that help the City meet its goals and priorities, including public safety, healthy and connected neighborhoods, sustainability and thriving businesses, and good jobs.
Applying agencies must have been a certified nonprofit for a minimum of five years and operate within Knoxville city limits. CAG funding has two categories “Arts and Culture" and “Community and Social Services.”
Arts and Culture includes museums, arts organizations, and groups that present and promote the performing arts and cultural experiences from a variety of heritages and backgrounds. Community and Social Services include organizations that meet a variety of community needs. (Funding requests for homelessness services will be accepted by the Housing and Neighborhood Development office starting Monday, Feb. 7.) Application forms are posted at
KnoxvilleTN.gov/citygrants.
All completed and signed applications must be submitted electronically and received by Thursday, February 24, 2022 by 4 p.m. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
