The Knoxville Community Band presents its fall concert on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, 3 p.m. at the Tennessee Amphitheater on World's Fair Park.
Larry Hicks directs the Knoxville Community Band, which is sponsored by City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation Department.
Saturday’s musical program offers a variety of genres and styles, including marches, Top 40 hits, Broadway show tunes, and movie themes.
The band will pay tribute to Aretha Franklin, ABBA and Ray Charles, and perform a medley of George Gershwin tunes.
Assistant Director Joel Tillman will conduct medleys from the hit films “Chicago” and “Frozen.”
Save the date for the Knoxville Community Band’s annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 4, 3 p.m. at the Bijou Theatre. This concert is also free to the public.
