All City of Knoxville offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, for the Labor Day holiday.
The closure includes the 311 Center for Service Innovation, which operates 311 and 211. Residents needing to report potholes, overgrown lots or other issues to 311 are encouraged to use the
My Knoxville app, available for iPhone and Android at
KnoxvilleTN.gov/App.

Waste Connections will run its regular residential garbage and recycling routes on Sept. 4, 2023. Downtown trash and recycling will also run on a regular schedule.
The
City’s public outdoor pools will operate regular hours this weekend. Ed Cothren (1737 Reynolds St.) and Inskip (4204 Bruhin Road) pools will be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Monday, as well as 1-6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $3 per person at Ed Cothren, $4 at Inskip.
Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, is the last day of outdoor pool season. Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023, is reserved for

Be advised of these additional holiday-related changes:
City recycling centers will be open, however the Goodwill attendant will not be on site Monday to accept household goods donations. Please don’t leave donations at unattended centers.
On Labor Day,
Knoxville Area Transit buses will operate on a Sunday schedule. Trolleys will not run, and the Knoxville Station customer service counter will be closed.
The
City's Solid Waste Facility (1033 Elm St.) will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 2, through Monday, Sept. 4. Due to the holiday, Free for City Residents Saturday at the Solid Waste Facility will be on Saturday, Sept. 9. Visit
