The Larry Cox Senior Center Hiking Club hikes a different trail each month.
Larry Cox Senior Center received a renovation and 960-square-foot addition in 2012. The addition includes new formal entrance, new restrooms, a lobby/gathering area, and an employee office. What once served as a gym was converted into a community room by with lowering of the ceiling and floor and window replacement. The previous restrooms were converted into a large storage room. The existing kitchen received a full renovation. The former entrance to the center was turned into a back patio.

The operating hours for the Larry Cox Senior Center typically consist of
Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.). If you have a questions about changes in hours, programs or center

HISTORY OF THE CENTER
Larry Cox is a former City Councilman (1984 to 2003) with deep ties to North Knoxville. Larry is a Fulton High School graduate and has connected youth to recreational baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, and softball through his role in the Knoxville Falcons Youth Sports organization for decades.
RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS
The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:
1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)
Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
